Dr. Major holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Boston University, a residency in hospital dentistry (GPR) from University of British Columbia, and a Masters Degree (MSc) in Orthodontics from the University of Alberta. He is a certified specialist in Orthodontics and Craniofacial Orthopedics (FRCDC) with a special interests in smile esthetics, jaw growth, and the medical practice of orthodontics - for example sleep apnea (OSA) and jaw joint (TMJ) problems.
Dr. Major founded Verve Orthodontics ten years ago because he knows there’s more to a smile than just teeth. True transformation comes by discovery of what’s below the surface. The highlight of Dr. Major's day is removing braces and watching his patients eyes light up as they see their new smile for the first time.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Dr. Major is a proud father to Isaiah, Gabby and Logan. In his spare time he enjoys getting out to the mountains, hiking, camping and riding motorcycles.
